Introduction:
For the Gnostic Christians, the Sophia
was a central element in their cosmological understanding of the
Universe. A Feminine figure, analogous to the human soul but also
simultaneously one of the Feminine aspects of God and the Bride of
Christ, she is considered to have fallen from grace in some way, in so
doing creating or helping to create the material world. For the
Gnostics, the drama of the redemption of the Sophia through Christ or
the Logos is the central drama of the universe. The Sophia resides in
all of us as the Divine Spark. According to the Pistis Sophia, Christ is
sent from the Godhead in order to bring Sophia back into the fullness of
Pleroma following her repentance. In Gnostic tradition, the term Sophia
(Σoφíα, Greek for "wisdom") refers to the final and lowest emanation of
God. http://encyclopedia.thefreedictionary.com
FINDING SOPHIA is a research blog recording the flow
of unconscious knowledge from the right-brain mind and/or higher Self,
and hopefully Sophia.
This is research into an alternative language of
thought (Mx) aims to raise awareness of an insidious covert prejudice
against right-mode thinking, which all stems from a fear of the
unconscious.
The method involves downloading (automatism and
dowsing) and
interpreting packets of information in the form of references in books.
We decided to share these downloads instead of filing them
away with the hundreds of others we have accumulated over the past five
years of research.
Series 01 is
private and covers the period 2006 to 2010. It is private because it
relates to a language of symbols that draws from the individual's
personal lexicon of meanings.
Series 02
used BodyTalk to work on using the Mx system to tap into unconscious
knowledge. Decoding these downloads are more complicated because two
people are involved in the process.
Series 03
is the more practical one that makes it easy for anyone to learn to
use a pendulum to find answers in books. A person can simply visit a
library or bookshop to look for answers.
The method used in the series 1 is for
training in whole-brain thinking that is similar to meditating using
Koans, practicing Alchemy, of reading Runes, Tarot, I-Ching etc.
This is necessary to kick start the awakening process.
The method used in series 3 allows one to
tap in the collective Mind or Noosphere without choosing the Path
and doing the Work that the more spiritual people are called to.
This blog was started in Jun.2010
In terms of the blog, the reader needs to take a
holistic view of how the parts come together. Each symbol must be
read in context and as part of the message that is being channelled.
Each reference is part of a puzzle. Stand back and try see how it
may apply to your own situation and that of the world.
Here is the standard spread we were given to
unpack as unconscious knowledge that must rise into awareness:
- [01] Subject Matter (category of thing)
- [02] External characteristics (masculine)
- [03] Internal characteristics (feminine)
- [2+3] Synthesis (Sacred Marriage, Daath, Illumination, Gestalt)
- [04] Core Issue (to be acknowledged)
- [05] Consequence (of this issue)
- [06] Responsibility (to take on or own up to)
- [07] Probable Outcome (unless free will is exercised)
- [08] Conditioning (to overcome)
- [09] Attitude (to adopt)
- [10] Right Action (to take)
- [11] Quantity and Quality (to measure)
- [12] Objective (to achieve)
- [13] Desired Outcome (to strive for)
